PSA1397 is a acid free 50 Metre double-sided-clear-polyester tape with a red MOPP backing. This clear double-sided polyester tape has a strong high tack (hi bond) solvent acrylic adhesive. Interior use

Exterior uses
This double-sided-clear-polyester tape is suited to outdoor use up to an impressive 140°C - which makes it suitable for all temperatures - and is both UV and solvent resistant while still providing a strong bond.
Glass
Due to this polyester tape leaving an invisible bond line when applied, it is ideal for glass surfaces, leaving an almost transparent finish.

Great item for crafting it has real sticking power. I use it all the time for my card making as I know it will hold many types of heavy weight craft card.

So far I have only used the 6 mm Double Sided Polyester tape. I use it for joining panels and adding reinforcement to model racing yacht sails. It has higher tack than the tape I had been using and was far superior in a comparative shear test that I performed on a join. For some short seams for high draft I prefer to use 3 mm tape but I have had failures of the seam on some materials and expect that the higher tack may solve this problem.

I required this tape to complete the partial repair of my Sony Z2 tablet. I had the cracked screen replaced professionally but they must had forgotten to replace the adhesive tape and relied on the original tape. After noticing the screen was loose I decided the replace the tape myself and was happy to find the 3mm PSA tape online. The repair was simple to do and the backing tape easy to remove prior to refitting. The screen is now fully attached as per the original installation.
