This PVA adhesive can be applied by serrated glue spreader, roller or brush, and the application is normally to one surface at a rate of 150g/m.
Open assembly times
The adhesive open time is typically around 15 minutes depending on the substrates being bonded. Assembly times are dependent on ambient conditions and substrates used.
Pressing
Pressure must be applied whilst the adhesive is still wet and should be a minimum of 30 psi (2Kg/cm) depending on the type of wood and structure.
Press times
Press times required depend on adhesive coating and upon substrates. Typical figures are:
- Hot Press: Decorative laminate/plywood 50C / 8 mins
- Cold Press: Decorative laminate/plywood 20C / 20 mins
Drying time
The drying type for this glue is dependent upon substrate, coat weight, temperature and humidity. Please note thought that this wood glue is considered a fast drying adhesive.
Cleaning
All equipment used should be cleaned with warm or cold water whilst the adhesive is still wet.
Storage information
This adhesive should be protected from extremes of temperature in a controlled environment between 5C and 30C, and away from direct sunlight. Do not stand this adhesive on a cold concrete floor.
