20mm x 200mm Tenura Self Adhesive Anti-slip Strips (30 Die Cut Strips on a Roll)

PSA0026 are 20mm x 200mm Tenura Self Adhesive Anti-slip Strips (30 Die Cut Strips on a Roll), which have a unique non-slip coating to ensure an effective slip-resistant (anti skid) flooring; however, it also features a smoother surface for walking barefoot on. This smooth surface helps to ensure: no skin damage, damage to material, or to wet suits.

Each roll can cover an average sized UK bath tub and is ideal for use on any wet areas such as: Bathtubs, showers, swimming pools, washing facilities, and will help to prevent slipping.

Non-slip coating in a wet – or marine environment – has always been a challenge; but, with this slip-resistant tape you can easily obtain a good non-slip surface.

Applying this slip resistant tape

To apply this slip-resistant tape, the water level will have to be dropped; as the surface to be bonded to needs to be clean and moisture free.

If the tape is to remain underwater we recommend our edge fix product which is a fine bead of non gaseous silicone sealant. This will prevent any corrosion of the adhesive should the water’s chemicals come into contact with it.

• A great resistance to: HSE (High Surface Energy) Plastics
• Moderate resistance to: plasticisers

Adhesive information

This anti-slip tape features a modified solvent based adhesive, which is formulated from: acrylic polymers; but, incorporates additional components found in rubber-based systems. The modified acrylic adhesive on this tape offers improved initial tack and adhesion to low-surface-energy materials compared with non-tackified acrylic formulations.

Application Information

This anti-slip tape is ideal for: any wet areas e.g: swimming pools, bath tubs, and washing facilities, and will help to prevent any unwanted slipping that could be potentially dangerous.
