This tape is a closed-cell polyethene foam double-sided mounting tape for permanent bonding, mounting and fixing applications, which have been specifically designed for applications in the automotive aftercare market; however, it can be used for other suitable non-automotive applications.
Carrier information
This adhesive tape’s carrier is a black closed-cell polyethene foam, 1mm thick. The cell structure is even and smooth, giving the ideal surface for adhesive coating.
The foam is even cross-linked, giving good cohesive strength.
Liner Information
This automotive double-sided foam tape features a green low-density Polyethylene (LDPE) Liner.
This liner has a differential silicone coating, which gives it good release characteristics.
