100mm x 66 Metre Very High Temperature Polyester Masking Tape

High Temperature polyester masking tapes are ideal for a number of applications. These include electrical, powder coating, electro-plating, and anodizing operations, where exceptional adhesive performance and specific low tack properties are required at very high temperature. This product can withstand short term periods of upto 200C, and longer term upto 180C. PSA850 has a silicone adhesive system which also makes it an ideal product for splicing silicone based papers and films.

Very Thin and Leaves No Residue

PSA850 masking tape/ splicing tape is very thin and conforms to dimensional changes during oven drying, as it does not shrink or lift off and does not leave a residue after removal.

Alongside this, the flexibility of the backing material allows good conformance to multi-dimensional surfaces.

The carrier on this masking tape is a 25 micron translucent polyester film, available in various colours.

Surface Preparation Information

This masking tape should be ideally applied between +15°C and +30°C, and the surface must be clean and free from dust and grease.

This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape must be applied with pressure in order to achieve maximum hold, and the indicated level of performance will be reached after a bonding period of 24 hours.

Storage and self life information

This painting tape should be ideally kept in a clean, dry and well-ventilated area – preferably at room temperature between 10°C and 30°C.

Stored under these conditions, the shelf life of this tape will be a minimum of 1 year.
