Our PSA405 is a black 12mm x 6mm x 3 Metre single sided expanded EPDM (Ethylene Polypropylene Diene Monomer Rubber) sponge rubber weather seal foam weather seal tape.
This tape is a weatherseal grade foam which can be used for glazing / construction applications where a gap fill product is required to produce a weather seal. This tape s#is also ideal as a draft excluder and for anti rattle applications in the automotive industry.
This tape has a high grab adhesive and will form a good bond to most surfaces, providing they are clean and dry. The EPDM foam formulation provides that an all-important weatherseal, with a good lifespan in situ.
Adhesive information
The adhesive to this foam tape is a Melamine�formaldehyde (MF), which has good all-round adhesive properties especially with reference to ageing, and weathering.
It has a very good initial tack with very high peel adhesion to a wide variety of low surface energy substrates such as foams, PE (Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), and EPDM (Ethylene Polypropylene Diene Monomer Rubber).
