PSA810B, is a 25mm x 10 Metre Smooth Photoluminescent Glow in the Dark marking tape.
This Photoluminescent tape is constructed from a conventional self-adhesive plastic base film, which has been impregnated with photoluminescent powder. Consequently, this tape is: non-toxic, and free from any radioactive or phosphorous materials.
The tape is charged by natural lights, and when the lights dim the product instantly displays a bright light. The conventional colour is mild green and when emitting light it is a bright white.
Application information
This tape is ideal for many applications from: use for tall buildings such as: skyscrapers, marking flooring – as it is required in some countries that photoluminescent tape is applied onto the top of skirting boards.
This glow in the dark tape is ideal for health and safety applications where by in case of a fire, the smoke rises to the top of the room – or corridor – this can create major problems; as the smoke prevents any light penetrating. This results in people in the building becoming disorientated in the burning building – even if they are familiar with the building layout. A strip of this glow in the dark Egress tape on top of skirting boards and around door surrounds enables people to crawl along walkways, see exits and access escape routes helping to reduce the risk of injury.
