30mm x 25 Metres Self Adhesive Rolls Hook or Loop

PSA4000D is a 25 metre continuous roll of 30mm self adhesive hook and loop tape, supplied in individual rolls of hook or loop in both black and white. Our stock adhesive is rubber-based, but acrylic adhesive can be made available on request, as can other colours.

Simple, Fast Application

Applying this hook and loop tape takes seconds. Peel the siliconised release paper from the adhesive backing, press the tape onto your chosen surface, and the rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesive grips immediately. There’s no need for tools, fixings, or specialist equipment. The bond builds progressively over the first 24 hours, reaching maximum holding strength the following day.

The 30mm width bridges the gap between our general-purpose 25mm tape and the heavier-duty 38mm option. It’s designed for applications that need a bit more bonding surface than a standard 1-inch tape can offer — either because the item being fastened is heavier, the surface is wider, or the fastening will be opened and closed more frequently.

What Is 30mm Hook & Loop Tape Best For?

The extra 5mm over our 25mm tape adds roughly 20% more adhesive contact area per linear metre. That may sound modest, but in practice it makes a meaningful difference when supporting items that sit at the upper end of what a 25mm tape can comfortably handle. The 30mm width is a strong choice wherever you need a medium-duty hold without stepping up to the bulkier 38mm or 50mm tapes.

Panels and access covers:

• Bath panels — one of the most common uses for the 30mm tape. Apply strips along the top edge and midpoint of a bath panel to hold it securely in place while still allowing easy removal for plumbing access, cleaning, or maintenance. The 30mm width provides enough grip to stop the panel flexing or popping loose, and peels away cleanly when you need to take the panel off.
• Radiator covers — mount MDF or timber radiator covers for a firm hold that can be lifted off when you need to bleed radiators, clean behind them, or service valves.
• Inspection hatches and service panels — secure lightweight access covers in commercial and domestic settings where panels need to be removed and refitted regularly.

Flooring and soft furnishings:

• Carpet edges and stair runners — hold carpet edges, stair runner strips, and rug borders in position on hard floors. The 30mm width sits comfortably along the underside of a carpet edge without folding or bunching.
• Sofa and chair cushions — keep seat and back cushions from sliding off sofas, armchairs, and outdoor seating. Apply a strip to the base of the cushion and a matching strip to the seat frame.
• Draught excluders — attach fabric or foam draught excluders to the base of doors and along window frames for a removable, repositionable seal.

Display and signage:

• Foamex boards and display panels — mount printed display boards to exhibition stands, shop walls, and retail fixtures. The 30mm width gives a slightly stronger hold than 25mm tape, which is useful when boards are larger or displayed in high-traffic areas where they’re more likely to be knocked.
• Changing room signage — attach room signs, wayfinding boards, and information displays in hotels, offices, and conference venues where layouts change regularly.
• School and nursery displays — fix artwork, learning materials, and display boards to classroom walls for easy rotation and updating throughout the term.

Sits Flat for a Clean, Discreet Finish

Despite being wider than the 25mm tape, the 30mm profile is still narrow enough to remain inconspicuous on most surfaces. On painted walls, plastic panels, and display boards, the tape sits flush and blends into the background — giving a tidy, professional result without visible fixings or bulky brackets.

Water-Resistant and Machine Washable

This tape stands up well to moisture and is suitable for use in damp environments such as bathrooms, kitchens, and covered outdoor areas. The hook and loop material is machine washable, so it can be used on items that are cleaned regularly — such as removable cushion covers, draught excluders, and fabric panels.

Rubber-Based Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

The rubber adhesive is formulated for strong initial tack and reliable long-term hold. It bonds effectively to a broad range of smooth, clean surfaces, including:

• PVC and uPVC
• MDF and sealed timber
• Low energy surfaces such as polypropylene, polystyrene, acetyl, PVA (polyvinyl acetate), and Teflon

This makes the 30mm tape a clean, practical alternative to screws, brackets, and adhesive glue — particularly for bath panels, radiator covers, and other household items that need to be removed and refitted without leaving marks or damage.

Designed for Long-Term Performance

PSA4000D is manufactured as a fasten-and-leave product. The hook and loop grip retains its holding strength through repeated use, with only minimal decline over many fastening and unfastening cycles. This is especially important for applications like bath panels and access covers, where the fastening may be opened dozens of times over its lifespan and still needs to hold securely each time it’s closed.

Application Instructions

1. Clean the surface thoroughly — all dust, grease, soap residue, and moisture must be removed. In bathrooms and kitchens, pay extra attention to cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, as soap films and steam residue can reduce adhesive performance.
2. Peel the release paper from the adhesive backing.
3. Position the tape and press firmly along its full length, applying even pressure across the entire 30mm width.
4. Wait 24 hours before loading — the adhesive cures to maximum bond strength overnight. For bath panels, avoid running hot water for the first 24 hours after application to prevent steam from weakening the initial bond.

Please note: This tape is not recommended for fabrics, dashboards, flexible vinyl, or underwater use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may reduce the lifespan of the adhesive.
